I’m trying to find a tea set not sure if it’s Chinese or Japanese it’s Asian in origin anyways it’s blue and white with a house, or a village on it.
My mom always speaks of this tea set she had as a little girl that her aunt that traveled all over the world brought back to her anyways my mom dropped the set when she was little and every piece broke and I always thought it would be nice to get her a new one but I don’t know where to look for it.

Try replacements.com. It will take a bit of rooting around but it may be worth it. Years ago as a child (I was like 5) I broke a teapot and my mother cried…. bigtime. Turned out it was super sentimental.
Years later after all was forgotten I was casting on the net for no real reason. I found the site and figured out what it was. They did not have it but I listed what I wanted so they sent an email for years saying "we don’t have it". 7, YES SEVEN years later they sent me an email saying they had it.
The look on my mother’s face……. when I gave it to her….. well you can imagine. So keep trying or get something close to what she is thinking of. A caution though. If it is old enough it might have been actually been made in England, even w. an asian theme.
So you will have to narrow down the question a bit.
it is japanese, try looking on google, that is all i have to say
After some quick research, blue and white wares originated and were developed from China, but were exported all around, so it may either be Chinese or Japanese (though more likely to be Chinese on the basis of abundance).
As for purchasing one, Chinatowns, ebay, and antique stores are always good local choices.
And if you ever get the chance, there’s plenty of cheap choices in China and Hong Kong.
also try ebay
